Took a look through old posts.

Seems a lot of shit is gone, whether through inactivity for MU links, or whatever reason MF has for deleting my shit. Made a list of what I need to re-up:

Crossed Out Discography
Los Crudos Discography
Destroy Discography
Wake Up On Fire - S/T and demo
Yeti - Volume, Obiteration, Transcendence
Pretty Little Flower Discography
Saw Throat - Inde$troy
Siege - Drop Dead
Facedowninshit - Nothing Positive, Only Negative
GISM - Sonicrime Therapy
Driller Killer - And The Winner Is...
Hellshock - Only The Dead Know The End of War
Axegrinder - Rise of the Serpent Men
Nausea - Punk Terrorist Anthology Vol. 1

This shit is annoying. Anyone know the deal with MediaFire deleting my files randomly?

Mediafire have lost over half my uploads...and won't reply to any emails or tickets I fill in, so customer service is obviously unimportant so don't bother with 'em! Try divshare or zshare, neither have lost anything... yet!!

Or better... Use RapidShare. They are simply the best for that stuff.

mediafire nuked my account as well. i've found some wonderful mass-mirroring sites that spread your file to multiple sites such as zshare, badongo, megaupload, and divshare. after uploading through their service, you are presented with one link to share and then you can download the file from a number of sites from there. these sites include:
massmirror.com
sharebee.com
tinyupload.com

among others. this is good because your not fucked if one of your links goes dead.

i've been told that badongo is a crucial site that doesn't expire your link or delete your file, zshare is said to be a good one as well, and divshare is becoming more popular too.

good luck!

You need to change the names of the zipped folders you upload. Name them something that doesn't sound like an album name of some sort. People like to be heroes and flag shit that doesn't seem legit. Thats what i do and dont have any issues.

Yea, when I get around to re-upping shit, I'll be scrambling the file names to see if it helps.

Also, I like MediaFire because it tells me how many people download a given file, and I need that kinda justification in my little existence.

zshare and badongo let you know how many people downloaded it, and they almost never delete your files... Unfortunately, the upload speed is extremely slow compared to Mediafire.

you might try link protection or something of the sort so that mediafire doesnt know that its getting traffic from you. if they traced all that shit back here and found that it was a filesharing thing they could have easily banned your account. try lix.in (link protection) or instead of posting a direct link change http to hxxp or something. this make people copy and paste rather than follow a direct link which comes back to you. i use mediafire for uploading shit all the time, but havent been banned because they dont know what i do. im fucking rambling.

great blog, and whatever you do dont use rapidshit. mediafire is the best.
